POSITION:  Early Learning Initiative Preschool Coordinator 

DESCRIPTION:           Responsible for the planning and coordination of ELI services to the preschool children at the Educational Service Center. Work collaboratively with all program areas of the Early Childhood Program, designated Educational Service Center representatives and partnering agencies/schools.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Master’s Degree preferred; Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Education or Early Childhood Education with Ohio Certification required or other combination of experiences and education as approved by the Superintendent.

·         Three years experience working with early childhood education services.

·         Strong supervisory skills.

·         Strong organizational skills.

·         Strong communication skills.

·         Excels in identifying new areas of opportunities.

·         Demonstrates experience initiating and developing programs and evaluating outcomes.

·         Willingness/ability to work as a team member.

·         Familiarity with Early Learning Initiatives services preferred.

·         History of good job attendance.

·         Must pass criminal background checks, drug screening and must be free of communicable diseases.

·         Valid driver’s license.

STARTING DATE:       July 1, 2008

SALARY RANGE:        $40,000 - $55,000

BENEFITS:                     Based upon Board Policy

WORK YEAR:               225 days per year
