Our Mission

The Butler County Family & Children First Council (FCFC) serves as a catalyst for public and private partners to achieve the vision of improved child well being for families and children in Butler County.

What we do

Our work includes the following initiatives:

Community Wraparound

A team-based planning process available to families with children with complex

Parent Partners

Volunteer parent partners provide information and emotional support to families served by the Wraparound process

Developmental Assets

Promotion of the Search Institute’s 40 Developmental Assets framework for positive youth development

Cross Systems Training

A multi-agency committee that strives to create opportunities for social services and school district employees to better understand the public and nonprofit services available to support families and children in Butler County
 
Early Childhood Coordinating Committee

A committee of government, social services, education and parents whose mission is the development of a countywide, comprehensive, coordinated, multi-disciplinary, interagency system for infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities or delays and their families

Ohio Children’s Trust Fund

Funding for child abuse and neglect prevention strategies

Help Me Grow

A program for children under the age of three and their families.  Services focus on infant and toddler health and development to give children the best possible start in life.
