We are excited to announce that our local districts receiving $10,000 or less in Title III Funds for ELL students can now join the Butler County ESC ELL Consortium.  Members of the consortium will meet at the beginning of each school year to discuss and develop a common plan that meets the requirements of Title III.  Our responsibilities as the fiscal agent will include:
  • Identifying the needs of member districts for improving services for LEP students.
  • Identifying the needs of member districts relating to professional development to improve instruction for LEP students.
  • District collaboration to create a consortium plan to effectively and efficiently use Title III funds to meet the needs identified by all members.
Members of our Consortium can expect high quality services through this collaborative endeavor. To best meet the needs of our consortium districts, we will design professional development and support for classroom teachers, principals, administrators, and other school or community personnel.
