Community Wraparound for FamiliesCommunity Wraparound for Families

Meeting needs using the power of families and communities

Some families are looking for help for their child, but they struggle with finding and using the different supports available to them. FCFC offers Wraparound to families of children with complex needs. Wraparound is a planning process that follows a series of steps so that children and their families realize their hopes and dreams. With the help of a Wraparound facilitator, people who care about the family’s long term success form a team. Understanding the family’s unique strengths, they problem-solve and plan in order to meet the needs of the family and the child.

Who Would Use the Wraparound Process?

There are many circumstances in which families could benefit from the Wraparound process:
  • Families looking for new interventions and strategies to help them care for their children
  • Families struggling to keep everyone in their home safe
  • Families whose children frequently have unplanned hospitalizations
  • Families involved with Juvenile justice who would like to create a plan to avoid future contacts with Juvenile Court
  • Youth with significant medical needs or developmental delays who would benefit from additional planning and care coordination
