The Parent Project

The Parent Project® is a 10-week parent education and support program designed specifically for parents of strong-willed or out-of-control adolescent children. Find out more HERE!

Community Wraparound

Wraparound is a team-based planning process available to families with children with complex needs. Every family’s team is unique and is made up of the people that know and care about the family the most. Teams consist of both informal supports such as friends & family members and formal supports, such as therapists and teachers. All team members work together to improve, strengthen, and stabilize family functioning and child well-being.

Cross Systems Training

The Cross Systems Training (BCCST) Committee membership includes representatives of the local child serving systems and social services agencies. A workgroup of the Family & Children First Council, the BCCST has developed several mechanisms to help equip social services and education employees with the information and resources they need to better serve the families and children of Butler County, including their annual New Worker Orientation in the Fall and Social Services Expo in the Spring.

Family Connections

Through the Strong Families, Safe Communities initiative FCFC is working to provide Butler County families with a variety of opportunities to connect with their family and with other families in the community. This includes connecting families to existing events, supporting existing & and organizing new trainings & fun events for families.

Developmental Assets

We work to promote the Search Institute’s 40 Developmental Assets framework for positive youth development. This includes facilitating the Asset Builder's Network. The Asset Builder's Network exists to communicate the message of Asset Development by focusing on community awareness, offering support to professionals and providing opportunities for youth to be resources within their communities.

Ohio Children's Trust Fund

The Butler County FCFC acts as the local advisory board for the Ohio Children's Trust Fund. This fund is Ohio's sole, dedicated public funding source for child abuse and neglect prevention.

Help Me Grow

Help Me Grow is a program for Ohio’s expectant parents, newborns, infants and toddlers that provide health and developmental services so children start school healthy and ready to learn. Help Me Grow provides the building blocks for success for Ohio’s families.

Butler County Partnership to Reduce Infant Mortality

A Butler County collaborative seeking to reduce our unacceptably high rate of infant mortality (death of a child before their first birthday).
