BCESC Preschool Programs are passionate about good health. Families receive support to develop a Medical Home - a doctor or clinic that sees the child regularly for well child checkups and when the child is ill. Support is also provided to our families to develop a Dental Home - a dentist the child sees for regular checkups and treatment.
Good health habits happen at preschool. Brushing teeth, washing hands regularly, physical exercise, and nutritious meals occur every day.
BCESC Preschool Programs are committed to wellness. Each child receives regular health screenings. These include vision, hearing, hemoglobin level, lead level, and blood pressure screenings. We also measure heights and weights. These screenings help with early identification to reduce complications and improve health outcomes. Preschool staff assist families in completing follow-up treatment.
Each child is required to have an annual physical exam, regular dental exams and current immunizations.
