Edgewood City Schools
Partners in Early Childhood Education
Edgewood City Schools and BCESC Early Childhood Programs believe that early childhood is a time of tremendous growth and change, and a time to develop the foundations for success in school. Through their strong partnership, the families of Edgewood School District have the opportunity for services through a variety of Early Childhood Programs.
Edgewood City Schools preschool programs are located in the Bloomfield Elementary building, providing the opportunity for children to participate in developmentally appropriate activities based on Ohio's Pre-Kindergarten expectations. Edgewood's Early Childhood Services also includes a program for pre-school children with disabilities as well as typical developing children for ages 3-5.
BCESC Early Childhood Programs provide additional services through a Head Start Center, which is housed at the Trenton Mennonite Church. This quality early education program has been an integral part of the community for over (11) years.
Edgewood City and BCESC Early Childhood Programs will continue to collaborate to meet the needs and interests of the districts youngest student population.
