Fairfield City Schools
Partners in Early Childhood Education
For over ten years, Fairfield City Schools and BCESC Early Childhood Programs have collaborated on early childhood education. Early learning services in Fairfield City have a variety of state and federal funding sources.
Fairfield's Public Preschool Program, administered by the BCESC, is funded by the Ohio Department of Education. Head Start is federally funded, so no local tax dollars are used to support these early learning services.
Fairfield City School District, in collaboration with BCESC Early Childhood Programs, is serving children through public preschool programming, and Head Start classrooms at Fairfield North and Fairfield South Elementary Schools. Over (120) children are receiving preschool services through these combined resources.
This strong early learning partnership is helping the children and families of Fairfield City School District access quality early learning education and child care.
