Partners in Early Childhood Education
Lakota Local is the 7th largest school district in the state of Ohio, and the largest in Butler County. For the seventh year in a row, Lakota has received an Excellent with Distinction rating on their School District Report Card.
As early learning partners, Lakota Local and BCESC Early Childhood Programs assessed programming needs for the local community. Lakota Local is serving children in their preschool classrooms at Creekside ECS, Shawnee ECS, Liberty ECS and the Union Day School. BCESC Early Childhood Programs supports early learning through the Head Start collaboration at Lakota's Creekside Elementary, Liberty Elementary, and Union Day School. Over (125) children are receiving preschool services through these combined resources.
Lakota Local and BCESC Early Childhood Programs will continue to collaborate to meet the needs and interests of the districts youngest student population.
