Middletown City Schools
Partners in Early Childhood Education
Middletown City School District and BCESC Early Childhood Programs have a strong, innovative collaboration in early childhood education. Through the efforts of these partners, the former Middletown Central Academy is now the BCESC Early Learning Center (BCESC ELC).
The facility is a "one-stop shop" for early learning success. The BCESC ELC houses Head Start classrooms, Middletown City Schools collaborative classrooms, Early Intervention (Birth - 3 years) services, and a Medical and Dental Outreach Clinic. Over (230) children are receiving preschool services through these combined resources.
Additionally, Amanda Elementary, Creekview Elementary, and Rosa Parks Elementary are providing preschool programming to over (120) children in preschool classrooms housed on the elementary campuses.
We look forward to our continued partnership in meeting the needs of Middletown City School District's youngest students.
