MARTHA SEWARD RAHFUSE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Butler County Educational Service Center (BCESC) awarded the Martha Seward Rahfuse Memorial Scholarship to graduating senior Cody Neace from Monroe Senior High School. Mr. Cody Neace will receive a $1,000 scholarship. He plans to attend the University of Kentucky and major in mechanical engineering. Martha Seward Rahfuse died on November 9, 1988. In her Last Will and Testament, Mrs. Rahfuse set aside funds to be awarded to students in order to assist them in pursuing goals of higher education. Mrs. Rahfuse served the schools and community of Butler County for twenty-eight years.
