Butler County Success Mission Statement
The Butler County Success Program removes non-cognitive barriers to learning by building bridges between home, school, and community to improve school success and self-reliance.
Butler County Success Vision Statement
Butler County Success students are successful in school and have families that are involved in their school and community.
Statement of Values:
Butler County Success is a family-centered, responsive, community-based advocacy program dedicated to removing non-cognitive barriers to learning by building bridges between school, home, and community.
Definition of Values:
Family-centered – Encouraging and supporting families by listening to and focusing on their decisions of wants and needs.
Responsive – Acting on family wants and needs, helping create new solutions for unmet needs, and filling schools with needed community services.
Community-based – Working within schools to connect with families where they are comfortable, linking home, school, and community.
Advocacy – Acting with the intention of using available resources to satisfy customer needs and wants.
Non-cognitive barriers – Non-developmental obstacles to learning, such as physical, social-emotional, behavioral, and environmental.
Building bridges – Facilitating communication between school, home, and community by collaborating to create solutions, thus meeting family needs and wants.
