Butler County Educational Service Center board member recognized for 20 years of service

Keels is in her fourth year on the Butler County ESC board and previously served on the Princeton City and Great Oaks Career Campuses boards of education for 16 years. She was recognized for her two decades of service by the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) at the June 16 Butler County ESC board meeting.
Keels, who was OSBA president in 2009, has an extensive record of service with the association. She has served as a member of the OSBA Executive Committee; Board of Trustees; Southwest Region Executive Committee; Legal Assistance Fund; Federal Relations Network; Student Achievement Leadership Team; and Legislative Platform Committee.
The veteran school district leader is an OSBA Master Board Member — a lifetime honor — and has earned multiple OSBA Awards of Achievement and the National School Boards Association's Board Member Recognition Award.
