Southwest Ohio Regional Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Council issues RFP

Butler County Educational Service Center, on behalf of the Southwest Ohio Regional Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Council, is issuing a Request for Proposals to provide child abuse and neglect prevention services to families in Adams, Brown, and/or Highland Counties as part of its approved FY23 Prevention Plan.

We are seeking programming that provides educational and supportive services to build and/or enhance protective factors within parents/caregivers. These types of strategies are known to reduce the incidence of child maltreatment and prevent child abuse and neglect. Click the link above to learn more.

Struggle for schools to find substitute teachers grows

Finding enough substitute teachers to fill in at classrooms was hard to do during the best of times, say state and local school officials. And now, finding substitute instructors to fill in for absent, full-time teachers during an ongoing global pandemic is even further from the best of times.
