Early Intervention

Early Intervention (EI) is grounded in the philosophy that young children learn best from familiar people in familiar settings. Every family served in EI will have a local team that consists of a service coordinator, service providers and your family.

All families who have concerns about their child’s development are eligible to have a free developmental screening or evaluation. If your child does have a delay, an Early Intervention service coordinator will help you find the services that best meet the needs of your family.

There are no income guidelines or income restrictions to receive our services. Eligibility is established based on medical diagnosis or via a free evaluation process that identifies developmental delays or the need for services.

Service Delivery

Services are delivered in your home at times that are convenient for you and your family. In the event that you are unable to receive services in your home, remote services are also available. The frequency of visits are flexible and based on your availability and your child’s need for EI services.
