Networking Roundtables

Three networking groups specific to educational leadership roles meet regularly to leverage professional relationships and create an environment for sharing experiences, resources, and practical ideas for managing complex responsibilities.

Principals Round Table

The Principals Round Table meets four times a year and focuses on topics that address the challenging role of building administrators. The responsibilities of this role sometimes make it difficult for principals to find time for their own professional learning. The Round Table sessions ensure the topics are specifically designed to meet principals’ needs and address the issues they face on a daily basis. In addition to “hot topics” like school safety and teacher evaluation, we’ll take a deep dive into a common challenge related to instructional leadership and return to it at each session.

Butler County Curriculum Consortium (BC3)

BCESC recognizes the importance of supporting curriculum leaders with timely updates and practical ideas to address the ever-changing educational expectations created by federal, state, and local mandates. The Curriculum Leaders Round Table, better known as BC3, meets monthly to around issues related to curriculum development, instructional practices, and assessment.

Counselors Round Table

The Counselors Round Table meets quarterly to provide updates and pertinent information to school counselors. The unique responsibilities for counselors and the demands to serve more students with a greater range of needs create a need for great dialogue, professional learning, sharing and problem-solving. These sessions will address the resources and topics that will help school counselors meet the challenges of their role.
