Georgine Bowman, Curriculum Director
Georgine Bowman provides district Professional Development and Instructional Coaching across many content and pedagogical topics. With over 30 years experience in education, Georgine taught grade levels 2 through 8 over the course of her career in both the private and public sector. She also served as a Curriculum Specialist at Winton Woods City Schools where she led many district initiatives in mathematics instruction, classroom management and curriculum development across content areas. Her work keeps her involved in many district and county level curriculum committees, and memberships to ASCD, NCTM, OCTM and ISTE.
Cathy Chenoweth, Gifted Coordinator
With 20 years of teaching and coaching experience in urban and rural settings, Cathy is passionate about developing resources that challenge and engage learners. She specializes in serving students with a variety of learning needs, particularly gifted learners. Recent work includes providing high quality professional development for gifted educators and instructional coaching to support learners in completing challenging work. She also services as a Regional Data Lead and provides professional development on the use of evidence-based decision-making, including value-added data.
Dave Clark, Technology Integration & Instructional Specialist
Through his experiences as a teacher, counselor, and college instructor, Dave honed his expertise in instructional technology, blended learning and Makerspace design. A nationally-recognized ISTE Certification Instructor whose participants have over a 90% portfolio acceptance rate, Dave recently developed a blended learning model for ISTE certification training. Recent projects include coaching and professional development for project-based learning, engaging instruction and virtual learning using Quality Matters standards.
Heather Sass, Assistant to the Superintendent in Charge of Teaching and Learning
Heather has twenty years of experience in coaching teachers, school teams, and district leaders at the district, state, and national level. Passionate about personalizing learning for students and teachers, Heather is committed to creating learning pathways that integrate both high-impact content and mindsets for actionable and resilient learning. A former teacher, administrator, and consultant, she has experience leading district-wide implementation of project-based learning, standards-based grading, personalized learning, instructional coaching, and active engagement.
Mary Snellgrove, Instructional Specialist
Mary has a wealth of experience as a teacher, a trusted instructional coach, and a regional leader in instructional technology integration. Mary is a nationally-recognized trainer for ISTE Certification, whose trainees have over a 90% portfolio acceptance rate. Recent projects include the development of a mobile app to support teachers’ professional learning and a blended instructional model for ISTE Certification training. Mary also leads the Title III Consortium to support districts' work with English Learners.
