ETHICS Training for Special Educators

Objectives

Participants Will:

  • acquire the 2-hour Ethics Training required by the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board for license renewal (December, 2020).
  • discuss common scenarios in special education around provision of FAPE, LRE, independent educational evaluations, social media, student suspensions, manifestation meetings, etc.

Location

Due to COVID-19 and the safety for all, this course will be presented using a live webinar platform. Participants will receive the link, access code, and password prior to the scheduled session.

Presenter

Jeremy Neff, Attorney, Ennis Britton Co., LPA, will share and discuss common scenarios that require both understanding of the legal aspects of special education as well as an awareness of professional ethics.

Cost

$25 per person (includes handouts)
