Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award
Deadline to apply: Feb. 7, 2020


The Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award Program was established by the Ohio Educational Service Center Association (OESCA) to promote and recognize outstanding academic achievement. One senior from each county in Ohio will receive this annual honor.

Type:
 One-year scholarship in the amount of $1,000.

Who may apply: One graduating senior is nominated from each public high school in Butler County.

Class rank: Applicants are typically selected from the top 5% of their graduating class.

Applications: Will be distributed at the discretion of the counselors.

Presentation: The award presentation will be held in Columbus, Ohio and a presentation will be held by the Governing Board of the Butler County Educational Service Center during the May board meeting.

Martha Seward Rahfuse Memorial Scholarship
Deadline to apply: April 1, 2020 


Type:
 One-year scholarship in the amount of $1,000.

Who may apply: Graduating seniors from Lakota East, Lakota West, Madison, Monroe, New Miami or Ross High Schools.

Class rank: Applicants must rank within the upper 25% of their graduating class.

Applications: Sent to high school counselors the beginning of January.

Presentation: An award presentation will be held during the Butler County Educational Service Center’s April board meeting.

Davene Harris Memorial Scholarship


Type:
 One-year scholarship in the amount of $1,000.

Who may apply: Graduating seniors from a public or private high school within the local school districts of Lakota, Madison, Monroe, New Miami or Ross.

Class rank: Applicants must have at least a 2.5 GPA.

Applications: Deadline is in February. Applications may be requested from the Hamilton Community Foundation at www.hamiltonfoundation.org

Presentation: All recipients and their families attend the scholarship program and reception held at Parrish Auditorium, Miami University in Hamilton.
