Butler County Educational Service Center Awarded Third-Place Large Business Winner in 2018 Top Workplaces

HAMILTON, OH – Butler County Educational Service Center (BCESC) is honored to announce it has been awarded third place in the large business category of Cincinnati’s 2018 Top Workplaces. BCESC also received "best in show" honors for meaningfulness, one of 13 best practice categories voted on by more than 38,000 employees at 184 organizations in Greater Cincinnati. 2018 is the sixth year in a row that BCESC has been named a Top Workplace by Enquirer Media.

“I am so proud to represent all of our employees who go above and beyond the call of duty and live out our core values every day: integrity, family-focused, compassion and respect,” said Chris Brown, BCESC superintendent. “The passion and enthusiasm they have for the families and children we serve is second to none, so it comes as no surprise to me that our staff voted BCESC the most meaningful place to work in Cincinnati.”

Top Workplaces are determined based solely on employee feedback, which is conducted by Energage (formerly Workplace Dynamics) of Exton, PA, a leading employee research and consulting firm that focuses on organizational health and employee engagement.

BCESC continues to grow as it forms partnerships with school districts, community organizations and families to provide programs, services and solutions to their challenges. From home visiting and preschool to curriculum support and leadership coaching, BCESC employs more than 600 people at more than 30 locations throughout Butler County.

"After more than a decade with Butler County ESC, I’m consistently amazed by the growth of our staff and the unique ability they have to affect change in the lives they touch every day. We have a long history of providing quality programs and services to our district partners, families and children, and are always looking for new and innovative ways to provide even more resources in the future,” said Ken Ulm, BCESC treasurer.
